Vilnius is almost at the geographical center of Europe, so getting to and from the city couldn’t be easier. You can fly to Vilnius in up to three hours – the city’s international airport operates direct flights to Europe’s main cities. Vilnius is also easily reached by land or sea. Vilnius is well-connected internationally via Vilnius Airport, located within the city. Currently, more than 15 airlines offer direct flights to more than 40 destinations from Vilnius International Airport. What’s more, flight times are only three hours or less. And the airport is only a 15-minute taxi ride from the center. Alternatively, you can fly to Kaunas Airport (approximately 100 km from Vilnius) and take a shuttle bus or train to Vilnius. There are also extensive international bus options and direct train connections are available from Warsaw, Krakow and Riga.
